For the Plant of Avezzano (AQ) we are looking for a:
Plant Controller
The person, reporting to the Group Controlling Manager, will manage the following activities:
-Supports Operations and Plant teams in the annual budgeting and planning process.
-Supports Operations and Plant in the Mid term plan process
-Prepares budget/forecast and planning by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating product’s cost data
-Prepares budget/forecast and planning by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating capex / investments
-Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing monthly closure variances versus Budget and versus Forecast. Support management to introduce corrective actions
-Provides status of economic and financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting data to the management
-Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, with particular focus on plant kpi’s (efficiency, costs, investment)
-Ensure updated Standard cost calculation for produced items into the plant
-Support management to take decision related to new business and new products, customer requirements, simulating estimation of the new product costs
-Support management maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
-Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
-Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors
-Support Purchasing Function to make decision of “make or buy”
-Support the evolution and optimization of IT system and procedures to be align with the company’s business requirements
The person is Responsible to support Plant and Operation function, through data analysis and reporting, helping them to achieve results and manage correctly and efficiently the product value stream.
Requirements of the position:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Requirements of the person:
-Managing processes
-Auditing, accounting, and corporate finance
-A fluent knowledge of Financial software (Office, SAP, SAP BPC)
-Proficiency on Powerpoint is a plus
-Developing standard costs in SAP
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance
-Solid experience as Plant or Industrial controller in industrial complex environment
-Developing budgets and tracking budget expenses
-Analyzing information
-Performance management
-Experience with financial reporting requirements.
Workplace: Montecchio Maggiore (VI).
Indicative annual gross salary: €40,000–€55,000 + 10%MBO. The annual gross salary depends on the candidate’s experience.
