ppMode Search is supporting a women's luxury fashion brand with the appointment of an Assistant Designer to join its growing design team.
Defined by a clean, minimal and understated aesthetic, the brand is experiencing strong international momentum and increasing industry recognition, with ambitious plans for continued growth across Europe and the US.
/p pBased from the brand's Milan office, this is an on-site position supporting across a variety of Ready-to-Wear categories.
The Assistant Designer will report directly to the Head of Design, while working closely with the wider creative leadership team.
/p h3The role /h3 ul liSupport the design and development of collections across a variety of Ready-to-Wear categories, working closely with the Head of Design throughout the seasonal process.
/li liAssist with design research, concept development, mood boards, colour palettes, fabric direction and collection inspiration.
/li liSupport the preparation of sketches, design specifications and materials required throughout the design and development process.
/li liCollaborate with product development and production teams, supporting fittings and the progression of designs from initial concept through to final product.
/li liConduct ongoing market and competitor research while supporting the wider design team with seasonal deadlines and day-to-day creative requirements.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liPrevious experience within an Assistant Designer or similar Ready-to-Wear design position, ideally within the luxury or premium fashion market.
/li liExperience working across multiple Ready-to-Wear categories, with a strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, fit and product development.
/li liProficiency in relevant design software, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with strong sketching and presentation skills.
/li liA refined design sensibility with an appreciation for clean, minimal and understated luxury.
/li liHighly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, growing fashion business.
