Discover the RoleThe Associate Fund Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate fund accounting records and delivering high-quality financial reporting for assigned client portfolios.
This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of fund accounting standards, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesFund Accounting & ReportingMaintain the general ledger and perform daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting for funds
Prepare NAV calculations, investor allocations, and capital account statements
Ensure accurate recording of capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carried interest
Financial Statements & CompliancePrepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS GAAP
Ensure compliance with local regulations and client-specific requirements
Investor ReportingPrepare investor reports, capital call notices, and distribution notices
Maintain investor records and respond to investor queries in a timely manner
Regulatory ReportingReporting to the Bank of Italy and Consob
CRS/FATCA reporting xysqume
EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in an economic field
Key Requirements3 to 5 years of experience in fund accounting
ExperienceKnowledge of IFRS GAAP and fund structures
Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
