OverviewIn this role you will be part of Siemens' Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation team in Milan, focusing on developing, testing, and commissioning energy automation systems for medium- and high-voltage substations and power plants.
You'll configure protection relays, perform FAT/SAT activities, and analyze fault data to deliver reliable energy automation solutions.

ResponsabilitàConfigure protection relays, including SIPROTEC devices, per functional and logic diagrams
Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of electrical automation systems
Support and execute Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) during commissioning
Analyze fault recordings and disturbance waveforms
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop innovative energy automation solutions
Requisiti fondamentaliDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
3–5 years in protection engineering or substation automation
Willingness to travel for site activities and commissioning
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
Continuous learning mindset and willingness to grow
Proficiency in Italian and English
