/p pAs GOSP's new bFinancial Controller – Compensation Cost /b, you will play a pivotal role in planning control of compensation costs, working in close alignment with your Unit Head, Department Head and with the HR Division.
You will develop a complete understanding of the components of the compensation cost in the various Countries where GOSP operates, always comparing top-down assumptions with bottom-up evidence from accounting information.
/p pYou are passionate about striking the right balance between synthesis and analysis in your reports, adapting your approach to different audiences.
You combine transparent communication with accuracy and a strong commitment to continuously improving tools, processes over time.
/p pKey responsibilities of the role will include: /p ul liManage end-to-end to the Forecast-Budget-Plan operation related to compensation costs /li liReview and challenge the expectations on salary growth, hiring and retirements per Country /li liMaintain the cost center (SAP) and cost object (Tagetik) structure up to date with the evolution of the organizational structure of the company /li liProvide full support to the Unit Head and to the Department Head in forecasting compensation cost impacts on high visibility projects, such as the establishment of new branches, joint ventures, insourcing projects, and other business transformation activities /li liFoster strong collaboration with Planning Control and Pricing colleagues across the Finance Division,
aligning calendars and formats /li liProactively identify and recommend improvements to increase alignment and granularity of the analysis /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: /p ul liAt least 8 years of experience in planning control /li liBachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field /li liItalian language proficiency at C1 level (written and spoken) /li liEnglish language proficiency at B2 level (written and spoken) /li liExperience working on compensation cost planning control /li liSolid command of Microsoft Excel /li liExperience in complex international environments is a plus /li /ul h3Company Profile /h3 pGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
