Overview

As a V&V-focused; engineer in ETCS/system testing, you will define and execute validation and verification strategies for rail signaling software. You’ll plan tests, configure test benches, and lead laboratory and on-site testing with cross-functional teams. You’ll apply standard V&V; methods aligned with Alstom standards, deliver acceptance test reports, and support system commissioning and customer acceptance. You join a global leader shaping safe and digital mobility with international projects and local impact.

Responsabilità

- Define V&V; strategy for ETCS/system testing
- Plan and execute tests in lab and on-site environments
- Configure test tools and test benches for testing activities
- Lead software testing sessions with lab and on-site teams
- Apply standard V&V; methods and change management per Alstom standards




- Manage test execution and analysis; deliver acceptance reports
- Support system commissioning and customer acceptance activities
- Coordinate trial runs with Test & Commissioning Team

Requisiti fondamentali

- University Engineering degree in Informatics, Electronics, Automation, IT, Telecom or equivalent
- Strong teamwork attitude
- Willingness to perform field activities weekly (Italy)
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Software development skill and attitude is a plus
