Purpose of the position:
As
Rotating Equipment Lead Engineer
, you will be part of the
ENCAR
Business line
.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate all engineering activities related to rotating equipment within the assigned project, ensuring full compliance with technical requirements, project management guidelines, budget constraints, schedule targets, and quality standards. Act as the discipline focal point within the project task force.
Execute the project activities following Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow.
Prepare Mechanical Data Sheet, Inspection Data Sheet, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation.
Manage interfaces with Vendors, being the focal point for assigned supplies.
Execute Vendors' Documents follow-up.
Participate in factory acceptance tests and site inspections of rotating equipment.
Provide input and recommendations for equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project teams disciplines (process, civil, piping, instrumentation & controls, electrical, metallurgy, projects management, procurement, inspection, logistics, commissioning and construction) to ensure the successful integration of rotating equipment into overall project design.
What are we looking for?
Education:
Master's Degree/bachelor's degree in: Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
Proven experience (at least 10 years) in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies.
Languages:
English (B2/C1).
Technical Skills:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering and design of rotating equipment in the oil and gas industry.
IT Skills:
Proficient in MS Office Tools.
Mobility:
Availability to travel for short periods (1 week to 1 Month).
Availability to be relocated abroad in both International Saipem Engineering Centers and or in Construction Site for a minimum of a year.
What else should you know?
You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the project assigned.
