Are you passionate about shaping enterprise-wide architecture, driving IT transformation, and aligning technology with business strategy?
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to establish and evolve the architectural foundation across the organization. In this role, you will design and govern the enterprise architecture landscape, ensuring alignment with business priorities, scalability, and long-term value creation.
This position combines strong strategic thinking with hands‑on execution,
enabling the translation of complex IT landscapes into actionable transformation roadmaps while fostering alignment across business and IT stakeholders.
Italy – Remote
The minimum gross annual salary for this position in Italy is €42,000. Compensation will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities.
Work Model: The position follows a hybrid work model when based at an FST Italy site. Remote work may be considered for locations not in close proximity to an FST Italy site.
Enterprise Architect (f/m/d)
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the Enterprise Architecture baseline by mapping the current IT landscape (applications, components, integrations) and aligning it with the target architecture.
- Define, evolve, and ensure alignment of the Enterprise Architecture framework with business strategy, security requirements, and group standards.
- Establish and enforce Enterprise Architecture governance, including guidelines, review processes, and compliance with defined standards.
- Support and integrate Enterprise Architecture into IT demand management processes, ensuring architectural validation, prioritization, and value-driven decision‑making.
- Assess the current landscape against the target architecture, identify gaps, and drive pragmatic transformation initiatives with Solution Architects.
- Guide architecture and service design decisions, ensuring scalability, resilience, cost efficiency, and overall solution quality.
- Ensure clear documentation and visualization of architecture while engaging business and technical stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Enterprise Architecture frameworks, governance models, and architecture best practices, with 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to assess complex IT environments and define actionable transformation roadmaps.
- Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, and service lifecycle management principles.
- Experience with architecture modeling and visualization tools (e.g., LeanIX or similar platforms).
- Strong ownership, ability to translate strategy into execution, manage priorities, and drive results in complex environments.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and influencing skills, with a collaborative and structured working style.
