OverviewAs Manager, Customer Success, you lead and grow a high-impact CS program in a fast-evolving phase.
You recruit, coach and develop a team of ICs to drive customer retention, expansion and product adoption while collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Support and Product.
You will shape CS processes, define metrics, and scale programs that empower customers and the team.
This role combines leadership with hands-on execution in a hybrid Italy-based environment (Milan or Rome).
You'll help build the MongoDB CS brand and partner with multiple teams to deliver measurable impact.

ResponsabilitàBuild and lead the CS team, including recruitment, mentoring and development of individual contributors
Define and drive analytics-based metrics to guide team direction and meet quarterly/long-term targets
Design and execute initiatives to grow customer retention, expansion, happiness, and product adoption
Maintain executive presence and relationships across MongoDB teams and offices
Requisiti fondamentaliExperience in hiring, developing and managing a team of ICs; prioritizes team success
Proven track record with fast-growing teams and data-driven decision making
Technical curiosity about databases; willingness to learn MongoDB and NoSQL concepts
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage time in ambiguous environments
Collaborative mindset with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Support, Product)
Adaptive mindset; comfortable in a changing environment and continuously improving processes
Excellent verbal and written communication for diverse internal and external audiences
Bachelor and 3–4 years of management experience in customer success or account management
Fluency in Italian and English
