OverviewIn this role, you will contribute to the development and integration of embedded software for automotive ECU applications within the vehicle electrification unit.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, test, and verify software across AUTOSAR components, diagnostics, bootloaders, and cybersecurity features.
You will learn under guidance from senior colleagues, tackling debugging, documentation, and lifecycle traceability.

ResponsabilitàSupport development, configuration, integration, and validation of embedded software for automotive ECU and vehicle electrification programs under senior guidance
Contribute to embedded software implementation using C/C++, model-based generated code, or AUTOSAR components
Assist with software integration involving application software, basic software, interfaces, diagnostics, and bootloader features
Support cybersecurity features such as secure communication, secure boot, secure software update, key management, and HSM interface integration as needed
Review and clarify customer, system, and software requirements with support from senior team members
Prepare software design notes, implementation documentation, test evidence, and engineering work products for project delivery
Maintain traceability between requirements, design, implementation, and verification using lifecycle tools
Assist with debugging, issue analysis, root cause investigation, and verification of embedded software features
Follow automotive software processes, coding guidelines, configuration management, and quality expectations
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, software integration reviews, project meetings, and technical training
Requisiti fondamentali3 years of experience in embedded software development or related engineering coursework/experience
Basic programming experience in C or C++, familiarity with embedded concepts
Exposure to automotive ECUs, AUTOSAR, CAN/LIN/Ethernet, diagnostics, bootloaders, or model-based development is preferred
Basic awareness of cybersecurity concepts is a plus
Strong willingness to learn embedded software development and project-specific tools/processes
Good communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team, follow direction, and complete tasks with guidance
Familiarity with Jira, Polarion, Azure DevOps, Git, or similar tools is a plus
Awareness of ASPICE, ISO *****, or ISO/SAE ***** is preferred but not required
