pOur client is a leading international renewable energy platform seeking a Country Manager for Italy to lead the growth and development of its Italian business.
/ppThe role combines country-level leadership with a strong focus on project origination, development, project management and MA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building the project pipeline, identifying investment opportunities, leading strategic transactions and overseeing projects through development and delivery.
/ppKey Responsibilities /pulliLead the Italian market strategy, business development and overall country performance.
/liliOriginate and develop a pipeline of utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects.
/liliBuild relationships with developers, investors, utilities, landowners, EPCs and other key stakeholders.
/liliIdentify, evaluate and lead MA, acquisitions, JVs and strategic partnerships.
/liliOversee projects from early-stage development through permitting, grid connection and construction readiness.
/liliLead project management across scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk.
/liliProvide technical and commercial oversight of projects and investment opportunities.
/liliLead and develop the Italian team, working closely with European engineering, finance, legal, investment and development functions.
/liliRepresent the business with senior external stakeholders and support investment and strategic decision-making.
/li /ulpCandidate Profile /pulliSenior experience within renewable energy / solar PV / energy infrastructure, ideally in Italy.
/liliEngineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
/liliStrong track record in project origination and development.
/liliProven project management experience across complex renewable energy projects.
/liliExperience with MA, acquisitions, JVs or strategic transactions.
/liliStrong understanding of the Italian renewable energy, permitting and grid environment.
/liliEstablished network across the Italian renewable energy market.
/liliStrong commercial, technical and negotiation skills.
