p pCosmic Group is looking for a hands-on bPurchasing Material Planning Manager /b to structure and develop the Purchasing function. /p pThe role combines two complementary areas: /p ul liProcurement, sourcing and supplier management. /li liMaterial planning, MRP and inventory management. /li liPurchasing team leadership and development. /li liSupport to Production, Lean transformation and ERP/MES implementation. /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Purchasing Operations and Team Management /h3 ul liLead, organise and develop a team of buyers with different experience levels. /li liStandardise purchasing processes, responsibilities and escalation rules. /li liWork directly with the ERP, purchase orders, shortages and supplier commitments. /li liIntroduce operational KPIs and continuous improvement practices. /li /ul h3BOM and Material Planning /h3 ul liImplement an early BOM review process to identify supply risks. /li liManage shortages, long lead-time, obsolete and single-source components. /li liReview MRP parameters, safety stocks, reorder points and purchasing lead times. /li liIntroduce kanban, min/max and automatic replenishment where appropriate. /li liSource, qualify and develop national and international suppliers. /li liNegotiate prices, lead times, MOQ, payment terms and framework agreements. /li liIntroduce supplier segmentation, scorecards and performance reviews. /li liRationalise the supplier base while protecting supply continuity. /li /ul h3Lean, ERP and International Development /h3 ul liSupport Lean initiatives related to material flow and line replenishment. /li liRepresent Purchasing in the implementation of the new ERP and MES. /li liImprove supplier and material master data, workflows, reports and alerts. /li liProgressively coordinate purchasing activities across international subsidiaries.
/li /ul h3Candidate Profile /h3 ul liAt least 5-7 years of experience in Purchasing, Material Planning or Supply Chain within a manufacturing company. /li liDirect experience with ERP/MRP systems, complex BOMs, inventory and shortage management. /li liExperience leading or developing buyers, planners or supply-chain professionals. /li liGood English and ability to work with suppliers and international teams. /li /ul h3Preferred Experience /h3 ul liElectronics, semiconductors, automation, mechatronics, EMS or industrial equipment. /li liHigh-mix/low-volume, make-to-order or engineer-to-order manufacturing. /li liElectronic component sourcing, including authorised distributors, obsolescence and supply risk. /li liLean Manufacturing, kanban, ERP/MES projects or relevant professional certifications. /li /ul h3Personal Qualities /h3 ul liStrong hands-on and operational approach. /li liAbility to combine strategic thinking with attention to detail. /li liPragmatic leadership and strong people-development skills. /li liAnalytical, structured and results-oriented mindset. /li /ul h3Key Objectives /h3 pDuring the first 12 months, the successful candidate will be expected to: /p ul liStandardise Purchasing processes and develop the team. /li liImprove BOM coverage and reduce shortages and emergency purchases. /li liImplement structured inventory and supplier-management policies. /li liSupport the company’s Lean transformation and ERP/MES programme. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liA key role in the transformation of the Purchasing and Supply Chain organisation. /li liDirect exposure to senior management and strategic company projects. /li liAn international and technically advanced working environment. /li liCompensation and professional-development opportunities aligned with experience. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
