Overview
In this role you drive continuous improvement at the Roma Plant focused on tire building, quality and uniformity. You work with cross-functional teams to industrialize new products and optimize machine setup, aiming to reduce waste and raise product quality. You apply data-based methodologies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions, coordinating with internal and external groups to ensure compliance with BS standards. You will develop measurement tools and support training to embed a Technical Service mindset.

- Roadmap implementation for Roma Plant/Advanced Workshop processes
- Support injection of technical Service capabilities
- Machine setup optimization
- Tire spec verification
- Tire building machine follow-up
- Tire uniformity improvement
- Operator training support on TS
- Technical Service support to new processes
- Join cross-functional teams in early product design (tire spec features)
- Develop measurement technologies, control strategies and data-driven inspection tools
- Root cause analysis and guidance on solutions
- Interface with internal/external groups to define expectations and assurance techniques
- Coach and embed Technical Service mindset in the team
- Risk reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Update and issue relevant Operative Procedures
- Periodic activity status reporting to management
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology or equivalent technology degree
- Desiderable tech service in tire industry or equivalent manufacturing role
- Tire design
- Project management
- Problem solving
- Quality tools for problem solving (5Why, 8D, Fishbone)
- Knowledge on tire technology/manufacturing process
- Potentially: 6 SIGMA
- Tire advanced technical knowledge (features, performance, mechanics)
- Data analysis
- ISO/TS 16949-IATF-VDA 6.3 core tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP, MSA)
- Soft skills: open mind, f
