In Settimo Torinese, Italy , is active one of the main production centers of L’Oréal Group in the world. The plant's products are distributed in 30+ countries. The production site is a full expression of the industrial, social and environmental values of the Group: quality, the result of innovation and control in production, safety of the working environments, and minimal impact on the environment. Between 2005 e il 2020 in terms of enviromental management, outstanding results have been reached . The site is in fact carbon neutral since 2015 and since 2018 is also a waterloop factory that is a production site which consumes water solely as a raw material for products and not for other uses.
Flows Engineer is responsible for ensuring the full availability of flow systems to serve the Production Units in the distribution of packaging and raw materials and in the collection of finished products, acting with a view to continuous improvement in both organizational and design dimensions. The role combines strategic vision, advanced management of logistical flows, and digital transformation to enable an increasingly smart, efficient, and safe Plant.
Plan, manage, and coordinate medium-to-long-term projects regarding flow optimization (e.g., logistic flows modifications, new automation solutions,
etc…)
Conduct critical analysis on service indicators in order to identify action plans useful for managing identified issues, through a digital & data-driven approach
Transform the collection and analysis of department data into a competitive advantage through digital tools and AI-based solutions
Develop dynamic monitoring dashboards and predictive KPIs (e.g., Drive the digital evolution of logistical flows , integrating software and data analysis systems to optimize overall efficiency
Promote the culture of continuous improvement within the department, drafting standardized procedures and coordinating training activities for internal and cooperative personnel
Act as a reference point and facilitator among various department teams, promoting fluid communication, workplace safety, and active team engagement.
Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) is required
Proficiency in software applications and data analyst programs
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) is required.
Excellent knowledge of the Italian language and good knowledge of English ; French is a plus
