With more than sixty years of expertise and operations in major countries around the globe, our building systems have been specified for many of the world's most advanced and prestigious buildings.Senior Special Projects & Façade Engineering Manager (m/f)Under the responsibility of the Group R&D; Director, the Special projects and façade technical manager will work on some of the most technically demanding and architecturally ambitious projects across AluK's worldwide network.He will take full ownership of complex international projects from concept definition to final validation and implementation by providing technical, economical and managerial skills to AluK's global organization.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Group R&D; Director and interacting with AluK business units worldwide, the candidate will be fully responsible of leading complex, non-standard and strategically relevant projects across all development phases, by taking responsibility of the initial concept design, costing, production, testing and validation of the projects.The main tasks will be to:Transform customer requirements into innovative project solutions.Lead and support special and complex international projects with major focus on Curtain Wall and other systems (windows, sliders, doors...)
customizationDevelop and validate technical concepts for non-standard customized applicationsProvide technical feasibility studies and system solutionsPrepare and review cost estimations, quotations and BOMsProduce and validate conceptual, catalogue and machining drawingsAct as leader interface between R&D;, Sales, Supply Chain and customersSupport tendering, negotiation and execution phasesEstablish and maintain strong customer relationshipsArrange site visits, testing facility and factory visits when requiredContribute to improvement and adaptation of AluK systemsSupport regulatory compliance and system qualificationsEncourage knowledge sharing and best practice transfer and training for other employeesProfile:Extensive experience in aluminium systems and international projectsDeep knowledge of Curtain Wall systems, Building Envelope Engineering, Façade DesignAbility to build credibility and maintain effective relationships with architects, consultants, customers and demanding international stakeholdersBachelor's degree in Engineering/ Architectural or equivalentStrong project leadership and coordination backgroundSolid economic and commercial awarenessStructured, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindsetCustomer-focused and professional approachAbility to manage problem issuesAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationSet an example to all staff by demonstrating compliance with the company's procedures and policies and operate within the company controls.Work in a professional and customer friendly mannerLanguages:Fluent in English.
xysqume Knowledge of Italian, French is an asset plus.
