Overview
In this role, you will shape and establish Nature Mechanical Engineering as a premier, cross-disciplinary journal. You will develop content strategy, manage manuscript decisions, and collaborate with editors across the Nature portfolio to connect academia, industry, and policymakers. You will also commission and edit reviews, perspectives, and comments while engaging with research institutions and conferences. This position offers the chance to impact a flagship, launch-focused journal that spans from nanotech to large-scale engineering, including biomedical and electrical intersections.

Responsabilità
- Handle original research submissions, oversee peer review,



and make informed editorial decisions
- Contribute to area-specific content development and strategy
- Commission and edit various article types (Reviews, Perspectives, Comments) and author editorials
- Collaborate with editors across the Nature portfolio
- Engage with research communities through conferences and on-site visits

Requisiti fondamentali
- PhD with strong research track record relevant to the journal's scope
- Broad scientific knowledge and training
