- Meet sales objectives through remote sales activities, including inbound and outbound calls, emails, chats, and virtual meetings
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with procurement teams, laboratory managers, and end users
- Identify customer needs and position Agilent’s laboratory services portfolio
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within an assigned territory
- Collaborate with field service engineers and internal sales teams to deliver a consistent customer experience
- Prepare and manage accurate service quotations
- Follow up on quotations and communicate value clearly
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM pipeline
- Provide accurate sales forecasts
- Develop inside sales capabilities including prospecting, objection handling, and commercial negotiation
Requirements
- Ideally, a University Degree in a Life Science field (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology…)
- Experience in a commercial, customer-facing, or inside sales position, including graduate roles, commercial internships, pre-sales, customer success, or hybrid technical-commercial positions,
with laboratory clients/environments
- Full professional fluency in Italian
- Strong professional level of English
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities using digital sales tools such as phone, email, virtual meetings, and CRM systems
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and communicate confidently with laboratory professionals, including scientists, laboratory managers, and procurement teams
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Comfort working in a structured environment with clear objectives and performance measures in a fast-paced, international team
