As a fast-growing, VC-backed clean-tech startup based in Switzerland, we work with leading waste operators across Europe and are now scaling our hardware and operations capabilities to support rapid deployment in the field.What we are looking forWe’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to support the deployment of our AI-powered vision systems in industrial environments.
This role focuses on the installation, configuration, and debugging of cameras, networking devices, and field hardware at customer sites.
You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure reliable system deployment and smooth commissioning, and stable cloud connectivity.
You will build and own our deployment and commissioning function, defining the processes and best practices for bringing complete edge AI systems online for industrial customers, from on-site hardware setup to network configuration, system testing, troubleshooting, and handover.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare installation material before customer deploymentsInstall and configure edge computers, industrial cameras, networking equipment, and other sensorsConfigure Linux-based edge computers, routers, switches, and local network infrastructureSupport wiring, cabling, mounting, and hardware setup on-sitePerform testing, troubleshooting,
