The position is covered by the 'CCNL Commercio e Terziario' (National Collective Labor Agreement for Commerce and Service Sector), alongside a benefits package that includes meal vouchers, wellbeing initiatives (including Wellhub),
and growth opportunities.Role and responsibilities:We are looking for a Project Manager & Functional Analyst – Data Analytics (5-10 years of experience) (Candidates with experience in only one of the two requested roles will also be considered)Your responsibilities will be:Responsibility for the governance of project initiatives throughout their entire lifecycle, from the assessment and process analysis phase to the release and deployment of the solution, ensuring compliance with timeline, costs, quality, and business objectives; Supporting the client in identifying information needs, defining functional requirements, and translating business needs into data-driven technological solutions; Gathering and formalizing business requirements, defining data models and KPIs, and handling the functional design of reporting and analytics solutions; Coordinating multidisciplinary teams composed of business analysts, data engineers, BI developers, and technical specialists.Required Skills ?Proven experience (5-10 years) in managing Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Platform projects, with the ability to combine project management skills, functional analysis,
and knowledge of main modern data architectures; Experience gained in the following contexts:Data Warehouse and Data LakeBusiness Intelligence and ReportingData Governance and Data QualityData Migration and Data ModernizationEnterprise Data Platform on cloud (Azure, AWS, Microsoft Fabric)Analytics and Self-Service BICore competencies:Gathering and analyzing business requirements; Drafting functional analysis and project documentation; Conceptual and functional data modeling; Defining KPIs, metrics, and business rules; Coordinating project teams and stakeholder management; Planning, progress monitoring, and risk management; Delivery coordination; Conducting workshops and business analysis sessions; Supporting functional testing, UAT, and production releases; Soft Skills:Leadership and team coordination; Ability to interact with business and IT stakeholders; Problem-solvingand result-oriented mindset; Effective communication at all organizational levels; Workshop facilitation and management skills; Managerial autonomy and proactivity; Strong orientation towards data quality and the business value of analytics solutions.Nice to Have:Knowledge of major Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platforms such as:Microsoft FabricPower BIAzure Data PlatformDatabricksQlik Sense / QlikViewTableauData Governance and Data Quality toolsCome with us?You will have the opportunity to work and get in touch with international players who will allow you to increase your know-how in view of future challenges!We do not consider applications without CV.Avvale promotes equal opportunity.
