We are looking for an experienced, energetic and hands‑on Restaurant Manager to lead the daily front‑of‑house operation and ensure a welcoming, professional and consistently high-quality guest experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily Operations: Manage the day‑to‑day restaurant operation and ensure service runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Team Management: Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and development of the restaurant team and prepare effective staff schedules.
- Service Leadership: Lead the front‑of‑house team by example and maintain high standards of service, presentation and professionalism.
- Kitchen &, Restaurant Coordination: Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and seamless service between front and back of house.
- Guest Experience: Welcome guests, monitor satisfaction and respond quickly and professionally to any concerns or special requests.
- Training &, Team Culture: Coach and motivate employees while creating a positive, respectful and team‑oriented working environment.
- Operational Controls: Manage POS procedures, daily sales reporting,
cash controls and restaurant inventory.
- Safety &, Hygiene: Ensure all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards are consistently maintained.
- Restaurant Presentation: Ensure the restaurant, bar and guest areas are always well presented and ready for service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Supervisor, preferably in a busy quality restaurant, resort or hospitality environment.
- Strong hospitality and customer-service mindset.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and solving problems as they arise.
- Experience with POS systems, inventory controls and daily sales reconciliation.
- Hands‑on, energetic and able to lead by example.
- Fluent in English, Dutch, Spanish and/or Papiamentu are an advantage.
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Valid driving license preferred.
- Professional, representative and a strong team player.
