With more than sixty years of expertise and operations in major countries around the globe, our building systems have been specified for many of the world’s most advanced and prestigious buildings. /p pUnder the responsibility of the Group RD Director, the Special projects and façade technical manager will work on some of the most technically demanding and architecturally ambitious projects across AluK's worldwide network. /p pHe will take full ownership of complex international projects from concept definition to final validation and implementation by providing technical, economical and managerial skills to AluK’s global organization. /p h3Responsibilities: /h3 pReporting to the Group RD Director and interacting with AluK business units worldwide, the candidate will be fully responsible of leading complex, non-standard and strategically relevant projects across all development phases, by taking responsibility of the initial concept design, costing, production, testing and validation of the projects. /p pThe main tasks will be to: /p ul liTransform customer requirements into innovative project solutions. /li liLead and support special and complex international projects with major focus on Curtain Wall and other systems (windows, sliders, doors…)
customization /li liDevelop and validate technical concepts for non-standard customized applications /li liProvide technical feasibility studies and system solutions /li liPrepare and review cost estimations, quotations and BOMs /li liProduce and validate conceptual, catalogue and machining drawings /li liAct as leader interface between RD, Sales, Supply Chain and customers /li liSupport tendering, negotiation and execution phases /li liEstablish and maintain strong customer relationships /li liArrange site visits, testing facility and factory visits when required /li liContribute to improvement and adaptation of AluK systems /li liSupport regulatory compliance and system qualifications /li liEncourage knowledge sharing and best practice transfer and training for other employees /li /ul h3Profile: /h3 ul liExtensive experience in aluminium systems and international projects /li liAbility to build credibility and maintain effective relationships with architects, consultants, customers and demanding international stakeholders /li liBachelor's degree in Engineering/ Architectural or equivalent /li liStrong project leadership and coordination background /li liSolid economic and commercial awarenessStructured, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset /li liCustomer-focused and professional approach /li liAbility to manage problem issues /li liAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information /li liSet an example to all staff by demonstrating compliance with the company’s procedures and policies and operate within the company controls. /li liWork in a professional and customer friendly manner /li /ul h3Languages: /h3 ul liFluent in English.
