Lead Electrical Engineer | Milan, Italy | Data CentreEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: €132,000- €144,000Mane Contract Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join a leading international engineering contractor working on a major data centre project in Milan.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Electrical Engineer looking to take a leadership role across electrical design, engineering coordination, installation, commissioning and handover.With a significant pipeline of projects for the next 5+ years, this position offers long-term stability, career development and the opportunity to work on some of Europe's most technically advanced engineering projects.The Opportunity:As Lead Electrical Engineer, you will take responsibility for electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with the Project Manager, design team, BIM, construction teams, vendors and client.You'll ensure electrical designs are technically robust, constructible and compliant, while supporting successful installation, commissioning and handover.This is a hands-on leadership position offering significant technical responsibility and the opportunity to lead engineering activities and mentor junior engineers.Key Responsibilities:Lead electrical engineering and design management activities throughout the projectReview electrical designs and specifications, identifying gaps, clashes and technical risksValidate cable sizing, technical assessments and electrical solutionsPrepare and manage electrical technical submittals and approvalsCoordinate electrical equipment procurement,
delivery and technical complianceWork closely with BIM and construction teams to ensure designs are constructible and coordinatedLiaise with clients, designers, vendors and subcontractors to resolve technical issuesMonitor engineering and installation progress against the construction programmeConduct electrical system walk-downs to verify compliance with drawings and specificationsCoordinate testing, commissioning and handover activitiesCompile and manage test packs, FTOPs and O&MsManage; specialist vendors throughout commissioningProvide technical support to estimating, procurement, commercial and project bid teamsSupport QA processes and continuous improvement initiativesMentor and coach junior engineers and graduatesWhat We're Looking For:We're looking to speak with experienced Electrical Engineers with a strong background in building services, data centres or technically complex construction projects.You'll ideally have:3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering7+ years' project engineering experience, preferably within constructionStrong experience with LV and MV electrical systemsProven experience delivering projects within Data Centre, Commercial,
