Overview
As Industrialization Manager, you ensure robust product industrialization and a smooth handover from R&D to Operations. You will drive manufacturing readiness, optimize processes, and lead digitalization initiatives (PLM, MES) to improve quality, cost, and competitiveness. You coordinate cross-functional teams to mitigate launch risks and accelerate time to market. This role offers the chance to shape the industrialization function and contribute to lean transformation and continuous improvement. Responsabilità
- Ensure manufacturing readiness of new products prior to ramp-up, including process stability, documentation, supplier readiness, and production feasibility
- Strengthen R&D; and Operations interface with structured handover and risk visibility
- Reduce time to industrialization via improved planning and issue anticipation
- Prevent and mitigate launch issues through disciplined execution
- Drive process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity improvements for efficiency and cost competitiveness
- Contribute to lean transformation and standardization, applying lessons learned
- Lead PLM, MES, and industrial digitalization initiatives, integrating Industrialization requirements
- Lead and develop the Industrialization team, including coaching and capability growth
- Contribute to strategic evolution of the function toward a scalable model
- Collaborate with R&D;, Production, Supply Chain and Quality to align with business and operational objectives
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 3 years in management positions in Industrialization, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI or similar industrial roles in electromechanical manufacturing
- Strong experience in product industrialization and transfer from R&D; to production
- Proven team management, coaching and organizational development experience
- Strong knowledge of industrial processes, process optimization and manufacturing systems
- Experience in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and industrial efficiency programs
- Knowledge of ERP, PLM, MES, and other manufacturing digital tools
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to balance short-term execution with medium- to long-term strategic vision
- Fluency in Italian and English; other languages a plus
