Overview In this Senior Underwriter role, you will drive profitable growth in Construction by underwriting complex risks and shaping solutions. You’ll work closely with brokers to communicate risk appetite and value, negotiating pricing and terms to meet client needs. You’ll expand the broker network, collaborate with distribution and other lines, and mentor junior underwriters to elevate team performance.

Responsabilità
- Underwrite new and renewal Construction business and assess complex risks
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and deal structures with brokers and clients
- Build and expand broker relationships and participate in broker events
- Collaborate with Distribution, territory managers, and other lines to target desirable accounts and cross-sell
- Provide leadership by setting high service standards and mentoring less-experienced underwriters
- Support team development by coaching and training colleagues on broker networking
Requisiti fondamentali
- Proven underwriting experience with solid Construction knowledge
- Ability to analyze financial statements
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Customer- and sales-oriented mindset: proactive, tenacious, technically skilled, accountable
