IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for a professional scientist to join the Artificial Intelligence research group with a focus on medical imaging projects.
Main activities:
As an Image Processing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing image processing algorithms for medical images obtained through different imaging modalities. The role will involve working with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians to analyze and extract relevant information from these images. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of state-of-the-art technology that can have a significant impact on patient care.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an excellent candidate with a degree in engineering, computer science, data science, mathematics, or related scientific fields. The candidate must have knowledge of medical image analysis algorithms (including deep learning), Python for data visualization, analysis, and medical image processing, and advanced proficiency in written and spoken English. The candidate should have experience in processing images acquired with MRI, CT,
or other tomographic imaging techniques and expertise in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. PhD/Master's/Specialization courses and scientific publications will be considered a plus.
