System HSEQ Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a System HSEQ Engineer to join our HSEQ Department in Rome, with a focus on Integrated Management Systems.
The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in the management of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) systems, with proven ability to support audits, maintain and update management system documentation, and monitor organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Management Systems
- Support the implementation, management and monitoring of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), and Occupational Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45001), as well as other applicable company requirements and standards.
- Ensure that company processes and practices comply with applicable international standards and local regulations.
- Review, update and revise company procedures, processes and management system documentation in response to regulatory changes and internal requirements.
Internal and External Audits
- Support the planning and execution of internal audits, ensuring that company processes and practices comply with the requirements of the Integrated Management System.
- Support the HSEQ team during certification audits, external audits and inspections, contributing to the maintenance of relevant certifications and compliance requirements.
Management System Performance Monitoring
- Monitor the performance of the Integrated Management System by collecting and analysing relevant KPIs and performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement;
- Support the management of non-conformities and corrective actions, ensuring effective follow-up and continuous compliance with management system requirements.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare, update, manage and archive technical documentation, reports, procedures and records required for the effective maintenance of the Integrated Management System;
- Contribute to the proper organization and maintenance of company documentation, ensuring that relevant information is easily accessible and available to the appropriate teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (minimum three-year degree);
- At least 5 years of professional experience in QHSE / HSEQ management systems or related roles;
- A solid knowledge of the main ISO management system standards;
- Previous experience in management system implementation, monitoring and auditing is preferred;
- Fluent English, both written and spoken;
- Availability to travel internationally for short business assignments.
