Overview In this role you will own the design for large battery backup systems, applying lithium-ion chemistry and other energy storage solutions. You will prototype, test, and implement design changes to improve performance and cost, while producing and updating technical documentation. You’ll support troubleshooting on site and contribute to manuals for new products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable energy storage solutions at scale.
Responsabilità
- Act as design owner for large commercial battery backup systems
- Invent, prototype, test and implement design changes to prevent issues and add value
- Create or revise technical product documentation
- Assist with on-site troubleshooting and issue investigation
- Travel to customer sites roughly every 4–6 months for validation
- Assist in creating user manuals for new products
- Interact with customers to support quoting/sales or problem resolution
- Operate test equipment up to 700V and 1.6MW as needed
- Design, build, and modify simple test equipment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requisiti fondamentali
- University degree or technical diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in an Electrical Engineer role
- Customer oriented and able to travel
- Good English language knowledge
- Strong planning, organizing, documentation and communication skills
- Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead and coordinate project tasks with other engineering teams globally
