Overview In this role you guide the early design and proposal phase for integrated data center solutions, leading a multidisciplinary team to translate customer needs into technically sound proposals. You collaborate with sales, suppliers, and clients to ensure compliance with codes and standards while shaping modular data center concepts. You will drive technical coordination, documentation, and knowledge transfer across engineering disciplines, delivering compelling solutions that align with Vertiv’s mission.

Responsabilità
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team during proposal design for modular data centers, power rooms, and cable landing stations
- Interpret RFQs and tender documents and translate customer requirements into proposals
- Coordinate architecture, civil, electrical, HVAC, monitoring and control, and fire protection disciplines
- Provide technical support during sales activities and review team deliverables
- Ensure adherence to codes,
standards, and customer specifications
- Prepare and supervise technical documentation for Vertiv modular data center solutions
- Engage with customers and suppliers for technical coordination; travel internationally for meetings, seminars, and trainings
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering with data center design knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
- Proven leadership and team-management abilities
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD
- Fluent in English
- Ability to translate architectures into design and implementation details
- Experience with client presentations and technical specifications
