Amazon is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the EU Process Engineering Network Experts Team (EUPE NET) in a full-time, onsite, non-shift rotation role with direct exposure to EU-level strategic initiatives. This senior position operates in a high-ambiguity environment where you will act as Subject Matter Expert for one or more EU CF process paths, covering direct, indirect processes and flow management. You will use your expertise to decompose complex operational challenges into simple, actionable solutions, design end-to-end standards in both planning and execution, and influence cross-functional stakeholders across countries and organizations to deliver cost savings and process excellence. The role requires strong ownership, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to lead independently across diverse teams and functions. The applicable collective agreement for this role is CBA for employees of Logistics, Delivery and Shipping Sector. The position is classified at level Quadro or above, depending on the candidate's skills, competences and experience.
Key job responsibilities- Analyze network data and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, compare site performance against network benchmarks, and convert insights into action plans presented to senior leadership (up to L10) - Use data to identify long-term risks, make strategic trade-offs, and drive complex problem resolution - Leverage AI and advanced analytics tools to provide granular insights and reduce cognitive workload for operations teams - Lead high-impact Continuous Improvement initiatives (Kaizens/Kaikaku) autonomously - Mentor and develop SSMEs in operational excellence and Lean methodologies - Develop and implement strategies to enhance network efficiency and reduce costs through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies - Lead EU projects coordinating multiple sites, designing and implementing innovative solutions for network optimization - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop end-to-e
