Location: Legnago, Italy - Carrier Corp, Via Ing. Pilade Riello 5/7 (Shopfloor)
Work Model: Fully Onsite
Contract: 12 Months
Working Hours: 40 hours/week
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Onsite Support Services Engineer to provide hands-on IT support to end users at the Carrier site in Legnago, Italy. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of IT support experience, with strong expertise in Service Desk, End User Services, Field Services, and Onsite IT Support.
The role requires excellent communication skills in English and native-level Italian, along with a strong customer-service mindset and the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and workplace technology issues in an onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT support to end users across the Carrier facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral-related issues.
- Deliver Service Desk and End User Computing support.
- Perform desktop/laptop installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Support printers, monitors, mobile devices, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
- Handle field service requests and provide hands-on technical assistance.
- Log, update, track, and resolve incidents and service requests through the ITSM system.
- Escalate complex issues to relevant technical teams when required.
- Support user onboarding, device provisioning, and IT equipment replacement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, assets, and troubleshooting activities.
- Follow IT support processes, security policies, and service-level requirements.
- Provide professional and timely support to users in both office and shopfloor environments.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in:
- Service Desk Support
- End User Services
