About the Role:The Customer Category Manager role plays a critical part in driving category growth across the Out of Home Convenience and Foodservice and eCommerce channels by transforming shopper, category, and customer insights into actionable growth strategies.
Working closely with internal functions and external customers, this position will help shape category plans, influence customer decision-making, and deliver sustainable growth for both Ferrero and its retail partners.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and tailor category growth strategies for Out of Home and eCommerce customers
- Leverage shopper, consumer, market, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities
- Champion category-centric thinking and represent the shopper perspective across business planning processes
- Support new product launches and activation plans through customer-specific category recommendations
- Translate insights into actionable 4P recommendations covering assortment, pricing, promotion, placement, and visibility
- Develop go-to-market strategies and execution plans for innovation and category growth initiatives
- Partner with commercial and planning teams to improve forecasting accuracy and commercial performance
- Contribute to cross-functional planning processes to ensure customer and category priorities are reflected in business decisions
- Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders across buying, category, and marketing functions
- Act as a trusted category advisor, providing insights and recommendations that support mutual growth objectives
- Support Joint Business Planning, range reviews, and customer planning sessions through compelling category and shopper-led narratives
- Influence internal and external stakeholders through data-driven storytelling and strategic recommendations
- Generate actionable insights from a variety of data sources, including retail scan data, shopper research, market reports, and consumer trends
