Overview In this role you will lead technical-commercial support for flat product rolling services. You will craft spare parts and modernization proposals, coordinate after-sales activities, and ensure on-time delivery within ERP-driven processes. You will work closely with engineering, purchasing and customer teams to translate technical needs into accurate quotations and packages.
This is a hands-on position focused on servicing customers and optimizing order execution in a global engineering business. You will contribute to maintaining high service levels and strengthening after-sales excellence.
Responsabilità
- Develop technical and commercial proposals for spare parts and upgrading/modernization solutions for flat product rolling (hot/cold)
- Identify required components, equipment, and systems using customer technical documentation and internal engineering support
- Prepare spare parts packages for initial supply in collaboration with product-specific technical departments
- Evaluate costs in cooperation with purchasing, costing, and supplier management teams
- Draft technical specifications and detailed commercial quotations
- Oversee and coordinate order execution, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy
- Collect and analyze project information, aligning after-sales activities with contractual milestones
- Maintain accurate records of quotations and orders within ERP systems
- Provide excellent customer service, handling technical inquiries and support needs
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma
- Experience in technical-commercial back-office roles within mechanical engineering or steel production environments
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus
- Proficiency in an additional language (preferred)
