Overview
In this role, you will support Latham’s global compliance programs with a focus on financial crime, AML, and sanctions. You will work within the Office of General Counsel to align local and international requirements with the firm’s compliance strategy. You will address regulatory developments, prepare reports for regulators, and support audits and inquiries. You’ll collaborate across teams to refine processes, responses, and contract terms, enabling compliant, efficient operations. This is a chance to shape cross-border compliance at a leading global firm and contribute to a strong governance culture.

Responsabilità
- Monitor regulatory developments across jurisdictions and update global/local compliance programs
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulators (e.g., OFSI)
- Support AML strategy execution and related projects
- Assist with ad hoc compliance programs (e.g., DAC6, criminal corporate offences)
- Draft responses and develop templates for client, vendor, and regulator inquiries
- Review and advise on contracts and vendor/service terms for compliance implications
- Support audit preparations with internal/external auditors and regulators
Requisiti fondamentali
- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Qualified as a lawyer in England & Wales or another jurisdiction where the firm has an office
- 3–4 years of post-qualified experience in financial crime compliance
- Experience managing global compliance projects, preferably in a large international law firm
