We are looking for an In-Situ Machining Service Engineer to join our In‑Situ Machining departmentand ToolCenter. We also welcome motivated entry-level candidates interested in developing a career in machining and field service.
The preferred location for this position is Genoa, Italy.
Your Role And Responsibilities
As part of the In‑Situ Machining team, you will support both workshop and field service activities. Depending on your experience, you will receive training in machining, tooling, maintenance, and Wärtsilä's safety and quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform machining, maintenance, upgrades, and repair activities on Wärtsilä and customer equipment, both in the workshop and at customer sites.
- Support global field service projects by preparing, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing tooling and equipment used for In‑Situ Machining operations.
