Overview

As IT Vendor Manager, you will govern Barilla's IT vendor ecosystem to maximize value and ensure alignment with strategy, architecture, risk, and finance. You’ll bridge IT with Purchasing, Legal, Security, Privacy, and Finance to drive contracts, performance, and compliance. You’ll manage vendor lifecycle, oversight, and cost discipline across multiple suppliers and cloud services.

This role offers impact by shaping governance frameworks and ensuring operational effectiveness. You’ll work in Parma to support Barilla’s mission of progress and excellence through strategic supplier management.

Responsabilità

- Define and validate IT contract requirements (cybersecurity, cloud, data protection, continuity) and ensure SLAs and security controls are in contracts
- Develop and refine IT vendor governance frameworks, align strategy with business priorities and operating model
- Oversee full vendor lifecycle, monitor performance against SLAs,



drive improvements and value-based assessments
- Manage vendor risks and compliance (GDPR, security controls, audits) and coordinate with Security and Privacy
- Ensure transparency of vendor costs, usage, and delivered value; optimize spend and cost drivers
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and provide leadership on vendor governance and risk practices

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor in Business, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of IT vendor management, purchasing, or IT sourcing in multinational or FMCG environment
- ITIL, CIPS, CTPRP certifications will be a plus
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
