About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to join our team in Vado Ligure. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving commercial growth, strengthening customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and leading a high-performing sales team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding our landside business activities, developing value-creating solutions for customers, and contributing to the long-term growth strategy of the terminal.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Commercial Growth
Develop and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth and support the terminal's commercial objectives.
Identify new business opportunities, develop landside service offerings, and expand existing customer relationships.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline management to negotiation and contract closure.
Deliver sales targets and implement go-to-market initiatives that strengthen the terminal's market position.
Build Strategic Customer Relationships
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
Understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions that create long-term value.
Lead customer reviews, performance discussions, and business development initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Commercial Performance Management
Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, profitability, and commercial KPIs.
Manage forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and opportunity reviews to support business growth.
Provide commercial insights and support the Global Commercial Operating System with accurate data and analysis.
Leadership & People Management
Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Executive while fostering a high-performance culture.
Promote collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and adherence to APM Terminals' values and standards.
