Your role:
As an Application Engineer – Motion Control, you will be part of the Digital Industries (DI) team, contributing to enabling customers across Italy to design, validate and commission advanced Motion Control applications while maximizing the value of Siemens technologies throughout the entire lifecycle, from digital simulation to on-site commissioning. Your day-to-day activities will include developing and testing Motion Control software solutions, supporting commissioning and troubleshooting activities, and collaborating closely with customers, partners,
and the sales organization to deliver innovative and high-performing automation solutions.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Driving the design, development, testing, and validation of Motion Control solutions based on customer requirements and system specifications.
- Managing parameterization, digital simulation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities for automation and motion applications at customer sites.
- Delivering technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions to customers and partners in classroom, remote, and on-site environments.
- Translating customer application needs into Motion Control architectures, technical specifications, and optimized parameter sets.
- Collaborating with the sales force to identify the best technical solutions, support proposals, and contribute to business development activities.
