Ecodesign Engineer

- Act as ecodesign and chemical compliance focal point for rolling stock projects
- Collect, analyse, and manage environmental data for LCA, PCF, and EPD studies
- Support integration of ecodesign principles throughout product development lifecycle
- Collaborate with Procurement and Engineering for sustainable supplier selection
- Provide technical support on ecodesign, circularity, and chemical compliance
- Represent the company in European/international LCA, circular economy, ecodesign groups
- Contribute to sustainability strategies, methodologies, and best practices
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- Knowledge of LCA methodology and sustainability principles
- Knowledge of ISO 14040 and ISO 14044
- 3–5 years experience collecting, analyzing and managing environmental data
- 3–5 years experience with LCA software tools (preferably SimaPro)
- Understanding of ecodesign, circular economy and sustainability principles
- Knowledge of chemical compliance requirements and related regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively
