Overview In this role you will support core accounting and planning activities for assigned entities and cost centers, contributing to accurate financial reporting and the monthly/annual close. You will work with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams to strengthen internal controls and optimize finance processes, including Italian electronic invoicing compliance. You will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and insightful financial analysis to inform decision-making.
This is a collaborative, international role with impact on process improvement and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilità
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing, ensuring precise journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for assigned areas
- Validate accounting assumptions in collaboration with the Accounting Manager
- Maintain knowledge of financial systems, processes, and data structures
- Participate in monthly close for entities, units, and centers
- Assist in annual budget and monthly forecast updates with financial insights
- Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances, and drivers
- Prepare accounting, financial,
and business analyses and reporting packages
- Support monthly invoicing and electronic invoicing compliance (Italy), including XML data generation
- Monitor adherence to accounting policies, controls, and regulatory requirements
- Support internal control activities and drive process improvements
- Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced analytical and reporting capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across functions
- Ability to work with diverse international collaborators
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and Italian VAT (IVA) rules and codes
- Experience supporting electronic invoicing processes and compliance in Italy
- Proficiency in Italian and English
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus
