Overview In this role you will drive Environmental, Health & Safety due diligence and compliance projects for private equity, corporate and financial clients. You’ll assess EHS risks, conduct audits, and support M&A; transaction advisory across diverse industries, collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll communicate findings to clients and stakeholders and contribute to team development.
This position offers hybrid work in Rome or Milan and a chance to shape sustainable change through expert EHS guidance.

Responsabilità
- Conduct Environmental, Health & Safety due diligence assessments for mergers, acquisitions, divestments and financing transactions
- Perform EHS compliance audits and site assessments across industrial and commercial facilities
- Review environmental permitting and regulatory compliance obligations and management systems
- Evaluate occupational health & safety programs, risk assessments, and contractor management processes
- Identify, quantify, and prioritize EHS risks, liabilities and improvement opportunities
- Prepare high-quality technical reports and client deliverables in Italian and English
- Participate in site visits, client meetings, and interactions with external stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous development of the team and support business development activities
- Support proposal preparation and client relationship management
Requisiti fondamentali
- 5+ years of professional experience in EHS consulting, compliance, auditing or related advisory services
- Demonstrated experience in EHS compliance audits and site assessments
- Strong knowledge of Italian environmental and occupational health & safety legislation (Legislative Decree 152/2006, 81/2008)
- Experience supporting EHS Due Diligence projects within M&A; or transaction advisory
- Strong analytical, report-writing and project execution skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Experience with ESG assessments or sustainability due diligence (advantage)
- Auditor qualifications (ISO 14001/ISO 45001) or RSPP qualifications (advantage)
- Knowledge of additional European languages (advantage)
