Overview
As the eCommerce Marketplace & Platform Lead, you shape the ABB Brand Marketplace strategy and drive its growth, expansion, and user experience across multiple markets. You own the platform roadmap, coordinate country deployments, and work with sales, product, IS, and partners to deliver scalable capabilities. This global, remote-friendly role centers on turning business needs into market-ready solutions and measurable performance.
You will partner with a Product Owner and external leads to align ABB’s marketplace initiatives and share best practices. Your work directly impacts growth, seller engagement, and customer journeys at scale.
Responsabilità
- Define and drive the Brand Marketplace strategy and roadmap for growth, country expansion, platform evolution and customer experience.
- Own business performance and development of the Brand Marketplace, focusing on adoption, orders, revenue, portfolio growth and seller engagement.
- Lead country deployments and localization with LSOs to assess opportunities, define requirements, prioritize market needs and coordinate launches.
- Manage the eCommerce platform backlog, roadmap and budget (Run and Development), translating business needs into scalable capabilities.
- Drive platform delivery with external vendors, development and UX teams, IS and project management, from requirements to release.
- Develop and manage the seller and partner ecosystem, including onboarding and assortment development.
- Improve marketplace performance across assortment, pricing, content, customer experience, seller performance and marketing with data-driven investments.
- Define and monitor business and platform KPIs using analytics and insights to prioritize investments and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product Owner and 3rd Party Marketplace Lead to share capabilities and align ABB’s marketplace activities.
Requisiti fondamentali
- Minimum 5 years in eCommerce, marketplace, digital product/platform management or related roles, ideally international B2B/industrial.
- Experience scaling eCommerce or marketplace platforms, including roadmap management, backlog prioritization, requirements definition and feature delivery.
- Proven ability to manage technology vendors, development teams and enterprise IT stakeholders (IS, Security, integrations).
- Strong project and stakeholder management, coordinating complex initiatives across countries and partners.
- Solid understanding of marketplace business models and commercial levers (sellers, assortment, pricing, CX, performance).
- Ability to blend technical/platform knowledge with commercial and analytical thinking; build business cases and drive outcomes.
- Understanding of 3rd Party Marketplaces (e.g., Amazon) within a broader eCommerce ecosystem. Hands-on ops experience is a plus.
- Experience with Adobe Commerce/Magento or similar eCommerce platforms; knowledge of industrial/B2B distribution or channel management is advantageous.
