The Role
- Ensure automated systems operate with maximum efficiency to meet customer order timelines.
- Monitor key systems, identify and resolve issues and criticalities.
- Collaborate with a European network to monitor material handling machinery metrics.
- Provide stakeholders with graphical data representations for problem-solving.
- Lead or actively participate in continuous improvement projects within the European control network.
- Interpret mechanical drawings and electrical systems, defining improvement strategies for compliance.
What You'll Need
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Extensive experience with PLC-based control systems automation and troubleshooting in continuous production environments.
- Broad experience with various conveyor and sortation systems.
- Significant experience in material handling, flow visualization, capacity, and monitoring.
- Proficiency with at least one of the following: Microsoft Office, project management tools, EPLAN, Ladder Logic programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Codesys PLC), Ignition SCADA or similar HMI, EthernetIP, Profinet, Profibus, AS-i, VFDs, safety gateways, and I/O devices.
- Advanced spoken and written English and Italian language skills.
