Key Responsibilities

- Identify the applicable regulation and requirements for different product categories and ensure product compliance with the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and the corresponding UK regulatory framework
- Manage compliance obligations under the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Monitor packaging minimization, substances of concern thresholds, and ensure alignment with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and future harmonized recycling label mandates across member states.
- Collect, review, and archive technical files, Declarations of Conformity (DoC), and test reports from suppliers.
- Prepare and review product information sheets to ensure that packaging artwork and labelling contain accurate, complete, and legally compliant information in accordance with applicable legislation.




- Support the shipping of product samples and liaise with international testing laboratories to coordinate required chemical, mechanical, and food-grade safety tests.
- Review packaging artwork to guarantee the inclusion of correct safety warnings, environmental/recycling labelling, and waste-sorting instructions.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department and logistics partners to ensure all product and packaging compliance documentation is complete and verified before goods arrive at customs.
- Manage product non-conformities and define appropriate corrective actions

Requirements

- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of working within the giftware industry, desirable but not essential
- Must be self-motivated and confident

Retribuzione: €22.000,00 - €26.000,00 all'anno
