As Technical Manager, you lead the local engineering and technical office for Lindsay Infrastructure road safety products, ensuring safe, compliant, and manufacturable solutions.
You drive engineering execution, product support, and delivery across cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.
You act as the qualified technical professional for OS 12-A certificates and related validation activities.
This role combines leadership, technical oversight, and regulatory compliance to enable safe road infrastructure products.
Lead and develop the technical team with priorities, workload planning, coaching, and resource management
Manage multiple engineering and product-development projects from requirements to release
Create technical plans aligned with priorities, customer needs, quality standards, timelines and budgets
Own and review drawings, BOMs, specifications, manuals, installation instructions, and technical reports
Coordinate crash testing and other product-validation activities, including documentation and action follow-up
Ensure compliance with technical regulations, certifications, homologation, quality systems, and safety expectations
Lead technical risk management using reviews, DFMA/DFMEA/FMEA, simulation and problem-solving
Collaborate with Operations, Quality and Supply Chain to resolve production and supplier issues and improve manufacturability
Prepare budgets, resource plans,



KPIs and progress/risk updates for management
Act as Snoline's qualified technical professional for OS 12-A certificates, sign certificates when empowered
Master's degree in Engineering (or equivalent), legally valid in Italy
State examination completion or equivalent qualification enabling professional engineer registration in Italy
Current Section A registration with the Italian Order of Engineers in a relevant sector
Legal empowerment to sign OS 12-A certificates for the manufacturer, including required power of attorney
No professional restrictions preventing technical-signature and representation responsibilities
Minimum five years of relevant engineering leadership or senior engineering experience
Experience managing complex technical projects with multidisciplinary teams
Practical mechanical design and 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred)
Working knowledge of DFMA, DFMEA/FMEA, FEA, verification/validation and testing
Experience with technical specifications, drawings, BOMs, manuals and engineering reports
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, product industrialisation and problem-solving
Understanding of technical standards, quality systems and product-safety requirements
Italian proficient for technical/business communication; English B2 or higher
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP and project-management systems
