ph3Chi siamo /h3 pUna carriera in Hitachi Rail rappresenta un investimento per il futuro. /p h3Job Description /h3 pHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self motivated Civil Work Trackwork Engineer to contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of railway infrastructure projects. This role involves ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and constructability of various civil and structural components within our complex rail systems. The position is based in Naples, Italy. /p h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liPerform structural analysis and design calculations for railway infrastructure elements such as bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, foundations, and station structures, adhering to relevant codes and standards (e.g., AREMA, AASHTO, AISC, ACI). /li liDevelop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for civil and structural components, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. /li liCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (e.g., track, signaling, power) to integrate structural designs seamlessly into overall rail system projects. /li liConduct site investigations, surveys, and inspections to assess existing conditions, evaluate constructability, and monitor progress during the construction phase. /li liIdentify and mitigate potential risks related to civil and structural aspects of projects, proposing innovative and cost-effective solutions. /li liPrepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules for civil and structural engineering scopes of work. /li liProvide technical support and guidance to construction teams, addressing field issues and ensuring adherence to design intent. /li liStay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and relevant regulations in civil, construction, and structural engineering. /li liParticipate in client meetings and presentations,
effectively communicating technical information and project progress. /li /ul h3Required Skills And Knowledge /h3 ul liMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil, construction, or structural engineering, with a focus on transportation infrastructure, preferably rail. /li liProficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, RISA-3D) and AutoCAD/MicroStation. /li liStrong understanding of relevant engineering codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., AREMA, AASHTO, IBC). /li liDemonstrated ability to perform complex structural calculations and develop detailed engineering drawings. /li liExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. /li liProfessional Engineer (PE) license is required or ability to obtain within 12 months. /li liStrong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail. /li liAbility to travel to project sites as required. /li /ul h3Education/Qualifications /h3 pBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. Master's degree preferred. /p h3Languages /h3 ul liEnglish proficiency. /li liItalian proficiency. /li /ul pAlla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B2, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.
