Data Engineer (m/f/d) – Databricks, BI Solutions To strengthen our Business Intelligence department at TechnoAlpin, we are looking for a technically skilled, structured and curious professional to actively help shape and further develop our central Data Platform.
In this role, you will ensure that data from a wide range of sources is transferred to our Data Platform reliably, in a structured format and ready for use. You will develop data pipelines, design data models, build new data products and ensure that data is available securely, traceably and to a high standard of quality for analysis, reporting, AI applications and operational processes.
Your responsibilities Developing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes in Databricks
Designing and optimising databases using SQL and Python
Integrating and managing data from different sources
Working with various teams to analyse and implement data-driven requirements
Complying with data protection regulations and internal compliance requirements
Supporting the further development of our Data Platform
Vocational training or a degree in computer science, business informatics, data science, data engineering or a comparable field
Professional experience in data engineering, including experience in designing and implementing complex data architectures
Strong knowledge of SQL and Python
Experience with modern data-platform technologies, ideally Databricks and the latest AI tools
Strong analytical thinking, a high level of personal responsibility and excellent communication and teamwork skills, including in an international environment

Compensation The intended starting salary for this position is based on the applicable minimum salary under the CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria collective agreement and currently amounts to at least €26,843.44 gross per year.
We offer our employees market-based compensation above the minimum level stipulated by the collective agreement. The actual compensation will be determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, particularly qualifications, relevant professional experience, technical expertise and the scope of responsibility assumed.
