ppAgentic AI Expert for Model-Based Engineering /p h3About the Role /h3 pOur client is a leading global technology company with a strong research and development presence in Europe, focused on developing advanced technologies and applications across digital power, electric vehicles, and intelligent engineering systems. /p pThey are currently looking for an bAgentic AI Expert for Model-Based Engineering /b to join their RD team in Pisa, Italy. /p pIn this role, you will work as a System/Software Engineer within a highly collaborative research team, helping to develop the next generation of Model-Based Design tools. The focus will be on improving simulation, code generation, diagram generation, and engineering workflows through the integration of the latest Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies. /p pYou will work alongside experienced engineers, researchers, and PhDs on innovative RD projects with direct application to future engineering software platforms. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the technological evolution of proprietary Model-Based Design tools through AI-assisted engineering. /li liDevelop and integrate Agentic AI capabilities into existing engineering and software products. /li liImprove large-scale simulation workflows, code generation, diagram generation, and automated test generation. /li liDesign and implement efficient AI agent architectures, including RAG, orchestration, tool calling, and multi-agent systems. /li liIntegrate LLM and AI technologies into existing engineering software environments. /li liAnalyse and optimise complex LLM pipelines, including latency, scalability, and token efficiency. /li liCollaborate closely with software engineers, researchers, and system engineering teams. /li /ul h3Mandatory Requirements /h3 ul liMSc in Engineering,
Computer Science, or a related discipline. PhD preferred. /li liExcellent knowledge of both bJava and Python /b. /li liExperience with AI frameworks such as bLangChain, LangGraph, Docling, PyTorch /b, or similar technologies. /li liHands-on experience with AI coding agents such as bClaude Code, OpenCode, Codex /b, or similar tools. /li liExperience with bOpenAI API, MCP servers, and tool calling /b. /li liStrong understanding of Agentic AI patterns, prompt engineering, and LLM-based workflows. /li liExperience designing and building efficient bmulti-agent AI architectures /b, including: /li liRAG /li liorchestration /li liintegration with existing software products /li liExperience analysing and optimising distributed LLM pipelines for scalability, latency, and token efficiency. /li liFamiliarity with bModel-Based Engineering / Model-Based Design /b concepts such as UML, Simulink, Stateflow, or similar modeling environments. /li liKnowledge of software testing, particularly regression testing. /li liStrong communication skills, initiative, teamwork, and a product-oriented mindset. /li liFluent English and comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment. /li liAvailability to travel within Europe and occasionally to China. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience with bmodel-to-text, text-to-model, or model-to-model transformations /b. /li liExperience with reinforcement learning, model quantisation, distillation, or fine-tuning. /li liExperience with bRTOS, embedded systems, control software, or automotive/vehicle software development /b. /li liStrong C++ knowledge. /li liExperience with the bEclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) /b. /li liExperience with MLOps and private LLM deployments, particularly using bvLLM /b. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
