ppStreet Smash Burgers is looking for an Accountant for our Italian company, in Milan.
/ppThis isn't your usual accounting job.
Here you'll build the foundations of Street's numbers in Italy: day-to-day bookkeeping (prima nota), VAT, revenue from stores opening one after another.
You'll work closely with Headquarters and with AI and automation tools in your daily work (yes, in accounting too).

/ph3bThe role /b /h3pYou'll manage the accounting of the Italian company, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and compliance with tax obligations.
You'll be the first accounting hire in Italy, reporting directly to Madrid (Headquarters), with the support of a local tax advisor and structured onboarding from day one.
/ph3bKey responsibilities /b /h3ulliGeneral accounting (day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable).
/liliRecording electronic invoices (SDI) and bank reconciliations.
/liliManaging tax obligations: VAT/LiPe, F24, electronic receipts (corrispettivi telematici), tax and administrative deadlines.
/liliMonitoring and verifying store revenue (high transaction volumes: daily takings, delivery, meal vouchers, cards).
/liliSupport in preparing the annual financial statements.
/liliSupport in implementing the group's new ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central): opening balances, master data,



testing.
/liliWorking with the tax advisor, auditors and Headquarters.
/li /ulh3bRequirements /b /h3ulliAt least 2 years of experience in Italian accounting.
/liliAccounting diploma (Ragioneria) and/or a degree in Economics.
/liliExcellent knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and VAT obligations.
/liliExcellent command of Excel.
/liliExperience with management software/ERP.
/liliNative-level Italian; English at B2 level (daily use with Headquarters).
/liliAccuracy, reliability and respect for deadlines.
/liliAbility to work independently and liaise with different departments.
/li /ulh3bNice to have /b /h3ulliExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
/liliExperience in the restaurant or multi-site retail sector.
/liliExperience in cost accounting or management control.
/liliFamiliarity with analysis and automation tools (Python, R, AI tools).
/liliGood knowledge of Spanish.
