In this role you guide customers through network security and zero-trust journeys, shaping technical solutions that align with their business priorities. You work with sales to craft winning proposals and evangelize our leadership across on-premises, cloud, and security services. As the expert for network security, you lead technical demonstrations, validate architectures, and position our solutions to address evolving industry trends.

This is a remote role based in Italy with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration and measurable impact.

Responsabilità

- Collaborate with sales to develop customer solutions within your specialization
- Present as a technical expert to diverse customer audiences
- Lead and support customer demonstrations to showcase value
- Drive technical validation projects to ensure technical win in opportunities
- Architect solutions to strengthen customer security posture
- Document high-level design and use cases for implementation and value realization




- Lead discussions on industry trends and emerging security landscape changes
- Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation
- Serve as main technical contact for RFIs/RFPs and partner-delivered services
- Position Palo Alto Networks solutions appropriately against competitors

Requisiti fondamentali
- Experience in Pre-Sales/Sales Engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE
- L2-L4 Networking knowledge (switching, VLANs, IP routing, OSPF, BGP, load balancing)
- Strong customer communication xkiyazw and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work with customers and maintain a can-do attitude
- Solid understanding of NGFW, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, BYOD solutions
- Advanced knowledge of On-Premise and Cloud-Delivered Network Security Technologies
- English proficiency
- This is a field sales role with travel to support in-person meetings
- Location flexibility in MILAN and ROME
