HI Partners is supporting the recruitment of a commercially oriented financial-services professional for an established international organisation developing its activities within the Italian private-client market.
This opportunity is designed for professionals with strong relationship-building capabilities, a commercial mindset, and experience working with private clients within financial services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new client relationships, understanding individual financial needs, and supporting the long-term growth of the organisation's activities in Italy.
Fluency in Italian and English is required.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with private individuals across the Italian market.
You will engage with prospective clients to understand their financial circumstances, priorities, objectives, and longer-term expectations, while presenting relevant financial and investment-related solutions.
The position combines relationship management, commercial development, and client acquisition and is particularly suited to professionals who enjoy developing new business and operating with a high degree of autonomy.
You will have access to experienced internal teams and specialist resources to support the client-development process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with prospective private clients across the Italian market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Conduct introductory and follow-up meetings with prospective clients.
- Understand clients' financial circumstances, objectives, priorities, and expectations.
- Present relevant financial and investment solutions in line with client requirements.
- Support prospective clients throughout the relationship-development and onboarding process.
- Maintain regular contact with clients and prospects.
- Develop sustainable and long-term commercial relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams involved in client servicing, investments, operations, and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of commercial activity and client interactions.
- Remain informed about financial markets, investment trends, and developments affecting private investors.
- Conduct all activities in accordance with applicable professional and regulatory requirements.
Your Profile
- Several years of professional experience within financial services.
- Previous experience in a commercially oriented, advisory, relationship-management, or client-development position.
- Experience dealing with private or affluent individuals.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new client relationships and generate business opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Commercial, proactive, and results-driven approach.
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own commercial activity.
- Strong organisational and time-management capabilities.
- Fluent Italian and English.
- Based in Italy or able to conduct professional activities within the Italian market.
- Any professional registration or authorisation required to perform the relevant activity in Italy must be held or satisfied before commencing the position.
